Those words that inspire us

Every morning, you are given 86 400 dollars with the only constraint of having to spend them all during that same day. Any remaining money is taken away when you go to bed. But this gift from heaven can stop anytime. So the question is, whay would you do if you were given such a gift?

This magic bank, we all have it, it is the time! Every morning, when you wake up, you are given 86 400 seconds of life for the day and when we go to bed at night there is no left over, what has not been lived during the day is lost, today is over.

Every morning, this magic starts over again, we are given 84 400 seconds of life and we all play with this unchangeable rule: the bank can close our account at anytime without prior notice; at any moment life can stop. So what do we do with our daily 86 400 seconds? Are not those seconds of life more important than dollars? So I please, lets enjoy every second that is given to us.

Marc Levy from "Et si c?ait vrai?"

I asked for Strength and God gave me difficulties to make me strong

I asked for wisdom and God gave me problem to solve

I asked for prosperity and God gave me a brain and brawn to work

I asked for Courage and God gave me obstacles to overcome

I asked for Love and God gave me troubled people to help

I asked for Favors and God gave me opportunities

I received nothing I wanted but I received Everything I needed.

The Difference

I got up early one morning

and rushed right into the day,< o:p>

I had so much to accomplish

that I didnt have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me

and heavier came each task.

" Why doesnt God help me ?" I wondered.

He answered, "You didnt ask."

I wanted to see joy and beauty,

but the day toiled on, gray and bleak.

I wondered why God didnt show me;

He said, "But you didnt seek."

I tried to come into Gods presence,

I used all the keys at the lock.

God gently and lovingly chided,

"My child, you didnt knock."

I woke up early this morning

and paused before entering the day,

I had so much to accomplish

that I had to take time to pray.

Think Positive

If you think you are beaten, you are.

If you think you dare not, you wont.

Success begins with your own will?O:P>

Its all in your state of mind.

Lifes battles are not always won

By those who are stronger or faster;

Sonner or later the person who wins

Is the person who thinks he can.

Everything is possible, it is a question of time, the time to understand how it is possible.

Real Life

For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacles in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were "my life". This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.

So, stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until you car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until youre off welfare, until you die, until youre born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy. Happiness is a journey not a destination.

**********************

Happiness...

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get
married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that
the kids are not old enough and well be content when they are. After that, were frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with.
Well certainly be happy when theyre out of that stage. We tell
ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets
his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go
on a nice vacation, when we retire. The truth is, theres no
better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when? Your
life will always be filled with challenges. Its best to admit this to
yourself and decide to be happy anyway.

The Sportsman

A sportsman is the one who not only has fortified his muscles and increased his resistance by the practice of some great sport, but also the one who, by practising it, has learned to repress his anger, to be tolerant with his fellows and his adversaries, not to enjoy a vile advantage, to feel as a disgrace the mere suspicion of a trap and to maintain the mind serene and the face cheerful at the hour of defeit.

Few signs of success

Success is closing the door to your office at the end of the day with a smile of satisfied contentment crossing your face. Its knowing that you did a good job and that those you interacted with you had a positive experience.

Success is looking forward to getting home and seeing the people you love. Its being mentally and emotionally free to share yourself with them and to be interested in them.

Success is being loved by the people you love

Success is sitting down to pay the bills and knowing that you have enough money to cover them this month and next month. Its knowing you have taken measures to ensure the financial security of your family in the event of your demise.

Success is knowing where to turn when it seems that theres nowhere to turn. Having a spiritual life is akin to eating food and drinking water. Its necessary!

Success is having interests or hobbies to call your own. Its things that you personally anticipates doing again and again. Having interests gives you joy and peace.

Success is waking up in the morning and feeling good. Its knowing that you eat right and exercise regularly and that you do everything you personally can to ensure continued good health

Success is turning out the lights, slipping under the covers, and thinking to yourself, "It just doesnt get much better than this!"

What success isnt

Success isnt calling home from work for the fourth time this week, apologizing because youre going to miss dinner with the family again.

Success isnt hurrying into the house and hiding behind closed doors or the television set because "after the day Ive had, I need my space!"

Success isnt having all the riches in the world and still trying to figure out how to have more of all the riches in the world.

Success isnt physically going to worship service and mentally writing a to-do list for when you get home

Success isnt all work and no play

Success isnt spending mental energy figuring out how to explain why your project isnt going to come in on time, why you have to miss your childs school play and why you just dont find any joy in living

Genesis Genese Genesis 27:27

The smell of my son is like a field the Lord has blessed (Isaac to Jacob)

Numbers Nombres 6:24-26

I pray that the Lord will bless and protect you, and that he will show you mercy and kindness. May the Lord be good to you and give you peace.

Deuteronomy Deuteronome Deuteronomio 6:5

So love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength (the most important Commandment) (Moses to Israel)

1 Kings 1 Rois 2:3

Do what the Lord your God commands and follow his teachings. Obey everything written in the Law of Moses. Then you will be a success, no matter what you do or where you go. (Davids instructions to Solomon)

Job Job 32:7-9

I once believed age was the source of wisdom; now I truly realize wisdom comes from God. Age is no guarantee of wisdom and understanding.

(Elihu to the three men)

Job Job 33:27-30

I sinned and did wrong, but God forgave me and rescued me from death! Now I will see the light. God gives each of us chance after chance to be saved from death and brought into the light that gives life. (Elihu to Job)

He pecado, he pervertido la justicia, pero no recibi mi merecido.

Job Job 36:7-12

God watches over good people and places them in positions of power and honor forever. But when people are prisoners of suffering and pain, God points out their sin and their pride, then he warns them to turn back to him. And if they obey, they will be successful and happy from then on. But if they foolishly refuse, they will be rewarded with violent death.

(Elihu to Job)

시편 Psalms Psaumes 1:1-2

God blesses those people who refuse evil advice and wont follow sinners or join in sneering at God. Instead, the Law of the Lord makes them happy, and they think about it day and night.

시편 Psalms Psaumes 18:27

You rescue the humble, but you put down all who are proud.

시편 Psalms Psaumes 19:12-13

None of us know our faults. Forgive me when I sin without knowing it. Dont let me do wrong on purpose, Lord, or let sin have control over my life. Then I will be innocent, and not guilty of some terrible fault.

시편 Psalms Psaumes 34:12-15

Do you want to live and enjoy a long life? Then dont say cruel things and dont tell lies. Do good instead of evil and try to live at peace. If you obey the Lord, he will watch over you and answer your prayers.

시편 Psalms Psaumes 37:4

Do what the Lord wants, and he will give you your hearts desire.

시편 Psalms Psaumes Salmos 50: 14-15

I am God Most High! The only sacrifice I want is for you to be thankful and to keep your word. Pray me in time of trouble. I will rescue you, and you will honor me.

시편 Psalms Psaumes Salmos 53:2

From heaven God looks down to see if anyone is wise enough to search for him.

시편 Psalms Psaumes Salmos 90:2-3

You have always been God, long before the birth of the mountains, even before you created the earth and the world. At your command we die and turn back to dust, but a thousand years mean nothing to you! They are merely a day gone by or a few hours in the night.

Tu fais retourner lhomme a la poussiere, car tu as dit : « Fils dAdam, retournez-y !

시편 Psalms Psaumes 116:8-9

You, Lord, have saved my life from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. Now I will walk at your side in this land of the living.

Tu me has librado de la muerte, has enjugado mis lagrimas, no me has dejado tropezar.

시편 Psalms Psaumes 119:145-149

I pray to you, Lord! Please answer me. I promise to obey your laws. I beg you to save me, so I can follow your rules. Even before sunrise, I pray for your help, and I put my hope in what you have said. I lie awake at night, thinking of your promises. Show that you love me, Lord, and answer my prayer. Please do the right thing and save my life.

A ti clamo : « Salvame ! » Quiero cumplir tus estatutos. Conforme a tu gran amor, escucha mi voz ; conforme a tus juicios, Senor, dame vida.

시편 Psalms Psaumes 127:1-2

Without the help of the Lord it is useless to build a home or to guard a city. It is useless to get up early and stay up late in order to earn a living. God takes care of his own even while they sleep.

시편 Psalms Psaumes 139:1-5

You have looked deep into my heart, Lord, and you know all about me. You know when I am resting or when I am working, and from heaven you discover my thoughts. You notice everything I do and everywhere I go. Before even I speak a word, you know what I will say, and with your powerful arm you protect me from every side.

Senor, tu me examinas, tu me conoces.

Proverbs Proverbes 2:6-7

All wisdom comes from the Lord, and so do common sense and understanding. God gives helpful advice to everyone who obeys him and protects all those who live as they should.

Proverbs Proverbes 3:5-8

With all your heart you must trust the Lord and not your own judgment. Always let him lead you, and he will clear the road for you to follow. Dont ever think that you are wise enough, but respect the Lord and stay away from evil. This will make you healthy, and you will feel strong.

Proverbs Proverbes 5:18-19

Be happy with the wife you married when you were young. She is beautiful and graceful, just like a deer; you should be attracted to her and stay deeply in love.

Proverbs Proverbes 8:18-21

I can make you rich and famous, important and successful. What you receive from me is more valuable than even the finest gold or the purest silver. I always do what is right, and I give great riches to everyone who loves me.

Proverbs Proverbes 12:16

Losing your temper is foolish; ignoring an insult is smart.

Proverbs Proverbes 14:30

It is healthy to be content but envy can eat you up

Proverbs Proverbes 15:33

Showing respect to the Lord will make you wise, and being humble will bring honor to you.

Proverbs Proverbes 16:3

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed

Proverbs Proverbes 16:31

Gray hair is a glorious crown worn by those who have lived right.

Proverbs Proverbes 18:12

Pride leads to destruction: humility leads to honor

Proverbs Proverbes 18:22

A man’s greatest treasure is his wife- she is a gift from the Lord.

Proverbs Proverbes 22:4

Respect and serve the Lord! Your reward will be wealth, a long life, and honor.

Proverbs Proverbes 27:10

Ecclesiastes Ecclesiaste 3:12-13

I know the best thing we can do is to always enjoy life, because God’s gift to us is the happiness we get from our food and drink and from the work we do. (Solomon)

Ecclesiastes Ecclesiaste 7:2

Its better to go to a funeral than to attend a feast; funerals remind us that we all must die.

Ecclesiastes Ecclesiaste 9:7-10

Be happy and enjoy eating and drinking! God decided long ago that this is what you should do. Dress up, comb your hair, and look your best. Life is short, and you love your wife, so enjoy being with her. This is what you are supposed to do as you struggle through life on this earth. Work hard at whatever you do. (Solomon)

Anda, come tu pan con alegria !

Ecclesiastes Ecclesiaste 12:13-14

Respect and obey God! This is what life is about. God will judge everything we do, even what is done in secret, whether good or bad. (Solomon)

Isaiah Esaie 38:16-17

Please make me healthy and strong again. It was for my own good that I had such hard times. But your love protected me from doom in the deep pit, and you turned your eyes away from my sins.

Tu me retabliras et me fera revivre.

Isaiah Esaie 41:9-10

From far across the earth I brought you here and said, You are my chosen servant. I havent forgotten you. Dont be afraid. I am with you. Dont tremble with fear. I am your God. I will make you strong, as I protect you with my arm and give you victories.

» Yo te escogi ; no te rechace.

Daniel Daniel 1:15-16

Ten days later, Daniel and his friends looked healthier and better than the young men who had been served food from the royal palace. After this, the guard let them eat vegetables instead of the rich food and wine.

Matthew Matthieu 5:46

If you love only those people who love you, will God reward you for that ?

Matthew Matthieu 6:3-4

When you give to the poor, dont let anyone know about it. Then your gift will be given in secret. Your Father knows what is done in secret, and he will reward you.

Matthew Matthieu 6:6

When you pray, go into a room alone and close the door. Pray to your Father in private. He knows what is done in private, and he will reward you.

Matthew Matthieu 6:14

If you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, your Father in Heaven will forgive you.

Matthew Matthieu 6:34

Dont worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today.

Matthew Matthieu 7:7-8

Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. Everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And the door will be opened for everyone who knocks.

Matthew Matthieu 7:12

Treat others as you want them to treat you.

Matthew Matthieu 8:13

Your faith made it happen

Quil te soit fait comme tu as cru

Todo se hara tal como creiste

Matthew Matthieu 10:32-33

If you tell others that you belong to me, I will tell my Father in heaven that you are my followers. But if you reject me, I will tell my Father in heaven that you dont belong to me.

Matthew Matthieu 11:28

If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest

Matthew Matthieu 18:3

If you dont change and become like a child, you will never get into the Kingdom of heaven.

Matthew Matthieu 18:21-22

Peter came up to the Lord and asked, How many times should I forgive someone who does something wrong to me? Is seven times enough? Jesus answered: not just seven times, seventy-seven times!

Matthew Matthieu 21: 22

If you have faith when you pray, you will be given whatever you ask for.

Matthew Matthieu 22:37-39

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. This is the first and most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, Love others as much as you love yourself.

Luke Luc 6:37-38

Jesus said:

Don’t judge others, and God won’t judge you. Don’t be hard on others and God won’t be hard on you. Forgive others, and God will forgive you. If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated.

Luke Luc 11:8-9

He may not get up and give you the bread, just because you are his friend. But he will get up and give you as much as you need, simply because you are not ashamed to keep on asking. So I tell you to ask and you will receive, search and you will find, knock and the door will be opened for you. (Jesus, about prayer)

Luke Luc 14:11

If you put yourself above others, you will be put down. But if you humble yourself, you will be honored.

John Jean 5:28-29

The time will come when all the dead will hear the voice of the Son of Man, and they will come out of their graves. Everyone who has done good things will rise to life, but everyone who has done evil things will rise and be condemned.

John Jean 8:32

The truth will set you free

John Jean 11:25-26

I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

Acts Actes 2:17

Your young men will see visions, and your old men will have dreams.

vos jeunes gens auront des visions, vos vieillards auront des songes

tendran visiones los jovenes y suenos los ancianos

Romans Romains 2:7

he will give eternal life to everyone who has patiently done what is good in the hope of receiving glory, honor, and life that lasts forever.

I Corinthians 1 Corinthiens 6:19-20

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."

I Corinthians 1 Corinthiens 7 :3-5

Husbands and wives should be fair with each other about having sex. A wife belongs to her husband instead of to herself, and a husband belongs to his wife instead of to himself. So don’t refuse sex to each other, unless you agree not to have sex for a little while, in order to spend time in prayer.

I Corinthians 1 Corinthiens 13:4-8

Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude.

Love isn’t selfish or quick-tempered. It does not keep a record of wrongs that others do.

Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil.

Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.

Galatians Galates 5:22-23

God’s Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled.

Philippians Philippiens 4:6-7

Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything.

With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.

Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel.

I Thessalonians 1 Thessaloniciens 5:16-18

Always be joyful and never stop praying. Whatever happens, keep thanking God because of Jesus Christ. This is what God wants you to do.

Hebrews Hebreux 11:1

Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us the proof of what we cannot see.

James Jacques 1:12

God will bless you, if you dont give up when your faith is being tested. He will reward you with a glorious life, just as he rewards everyone who loves him.

James Jacques 5:15

if you have faith when you pray for sick people, they will get well. The Lord will heal them, and if they have sinned, he will forgive them

1 Peter 1 Pierre 4:10

Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well.

1 Peter 1 Pierre 5:8-9

Be on guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack. But you must resist the devil and stay strong in your faith.

Soyez sobres, veillez!

The End
